Halloween edition of “Human Side of Health Care” with guests from Children’s Health, Parkland and Texas Health



Episode 42 of the second year of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The “spooky” discussion detailed an innovative new healthcare App, Halloween risks and poisonous North Texas spiders. Yikes!

Guests included:

Ken Dakin, Physician Assistant at Children’s Health;
Liz Petty, Public Health Educator, North Texas Poison Center at Parkland Health & Hospital System;
Dr. Otto Marquez, Emergency Medicine Physician at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2021 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
