The Story

Access, cost, outcomes-with recent changes to healthcare policy and reimbursement models, these are the driving forces behind our research. The Foundation understands that the healthcare landscape is ever-changing and that the health of the region is dependent on preparedness of a healthcare organization and its community. That’s why in collaboration with a robust network of partners, we are examining the cultural competence of healthcare professionals; improving care coordination utilizing advanced technology; and assessing and implementing measures to increase the health literacy of at-risk populations. Our department offers collaborative grant application preparation, convening and advising, supported by experienced grant writers.

Research Projects

Researchers collaborate with community stakeholders to achieve a common goal: improve community health through research initiatives and knowledge dissemination. Through the use of Foundation data assets and other resources, we make the greatest impact to health care delivery through inquiry, intervention, and evaluation. We welcome collaboration on a variety of research topics that span the healthcare continuum including: workforce, patient safety, community health, health services, and quality improvement.
