Guests from UTSW, Parkland and Methodist discuss pandemic surge on “The Human Side of Health Care”

Episode 31 of the second year of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The discussion detailed the COVID-19 variant exploding across North Texas and “back to school” fears.

Guests included:

• Dr. Robert Haley, Director of the Division of Epidemiology at UT Southwestern;
• Dr. Roberto de la Cruz, Chief Medical Officer at Parkland Health & Hospital System;
• Dr. John Carlo, President/CEO, Prism Health North Texas;
• Dr. Kyle Oholendt, Pediatrics Specialist, Methodist Health System.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2021 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
