Guests from Texas Health, Parkland discuss Spring Break safety and maternal mortality on “Human Side of Health Care”

Episode 10 of the third year of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The discussion detailed peer pressure safety tips over Spring Break and the alarmingly high maternal mortality rate in Texas.

Guests included:

• Cindy Burnette, RN, SANE Program Director at Texas Health Resources;
• Marjorie Quint-Bouzid, RN, Senior Vice President, Women and Infant’s Specialty Health at Parkland Health & Hospital System.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2022 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
