Guests from Texas Health, Children’s Health and Parkland highlight “The Human Side of Health Care”



Episode 47 of the second year of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The discussion detailed healthy forms of weight loss, “Long COVID,” childhood seizures and maternal care after pregnancy.

Guests included:

Dr. Ruby Shah, Founder of Vitality Weight Loss Institute in Plano and Obesity Specialist at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano;
Dr. Tu Le, Cardiologist at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hurst-Euless-Bedford;
Dr. Angela Price, Pediatric Neurosurgeon at Children’s Health;
Dr. David Nelson, Chief of Obstetrics and Maternal Medical Director at Parkland Health & Hospital System.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2021 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
