Guests from Prism Health, DCHHS and Parkland highlight “Human Side of Health Care”

Episode 8 of the second year of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The discussion focused on HIV issues in North Texas and the COVID-19 battle from the perspective of frontline nurses.

Guests included:

• Dr. John Carlo, CEO, Prism Health North Texas;
• Dr. Philip Huang, Director, Dallas County Health and Human Services;
• Karen Watts, Executive VP and Chief Nursing Executive, Parkland Health & Hospital System.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2020 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
