Guests from Prism Health, Cook Children’s and Methodist highlight “The Human Side of Health Care”

Episode 19 of the third year of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The discussion detailed lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, a positive outreach podcast titled “Raising Joy” and a unique urology symptom you may be unfamiliar with.

Guests included:

• Dr. John Carlo, CEO of Prism Health North Texas;
• Wini King, Chief of Communications, Inclusion, Diversity and Equity at Cook Children’s;
• Dr. Kristen Pyrc, Co-Medical Director of Psychiatry at Cook Children’s;
• Dr. KC Bens, Urologist at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2022 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
