Episode 18 of the second year of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The discussion detailed an inspiring COVID-19 survival story, the possibility of herd immunity and childhood vaccinations.

Guests included:

• Dr. Satyam Nayak, Internal Medicine at Parkland Health & Hospital System and UT Southwestern;
• Dr. John Carlo, President/CEO at Prism Health North Texas;
• Dr. Trish Perl, Chief, Division of Infectious Diseases at UT Southwestern.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2020 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
