Guests from Parkland and Baylor Scott & White highlight “The Human Side of Health Care”

Episode 44 of the second year of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The discussion detailed the importance of your flu shot during the pandemic and the surprising uptick in workplace violence at our hospitals.

Guests included:

• Dr. Cesar Termulo, Associate Medical Director at Parkland’s Hatcher Station Community Oriented Primary Care Health Center;
• Walter Cassity, Senior Vice President at Baylor Scott & White Health;
• Dr. Fuad Khan, Senior Vice President and Chief of Integrated Behavioral Health at Parkland Health and Hospital System.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2021 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
