Episode 29 of the second year of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The discussion detailed the ramifications of the COVID-19 “variant” in North Texas and a new treatment for Alzheimer’s Disease.

Guests included:

• Dr. Leigh Hunter, Infectious Disease Specialist at Methodist Health System;
• Dr. Stephen Hurlbut, Neurologist at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hurst-Euless-Bedford.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2021 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
