Guests from Medical City and Children’s Health highlight “The Human Side of Health Care”

Episode 12 of the third year of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The discussion detailed an innovative program for nursing education and crucial treatment for childhood heart defects.

Guests included:

• Rose Johnson, Administrative Director of Academic Partnerships and Nurse Leader Development at Medical City Healthcare;
• Dr. Nicolas Madsen, Co-Director of The Heart Center and Chief of Cardiology at Children’s Health.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2022 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
