Guests from Children’s Health, UTSW and Methodist highlight “The Human Side of Health Care”

Episode 20 of the second year of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The discussion detailed the advancements in childhood transplants and heart disease.

Guests included:

• Dr. David Sutcliffe, Pediatric Cardiologist at Children’s Health and UT Southwestern;
• Dr. Dev Desai, Chief of Pediatric Transplantation at Children’s Health and Professor of Surgery at UT Southwestern;
• Dr. Alejandro Mejia, Transplant Surgeon and Executive Program Director of Organ Transplantation at Methodist Health System.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2020 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
