Foundation’s 5th Annual IQSC Data Summit set for Nov. 3-4



The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation’s 5th Annual Information and Quality Services Center’s (IQSC) Data Summit has been announced for November 3-4, 2021. The virtual event will take place each day from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, CDT.

The event will be highlighted by Dr. Philip Huang, director of the Dallas County Health and Human Services, serving as keynote speaker to discuss the challenges and analytics utilized for COVID-19 data collection.

Additional speakers will include Gloria Kupferman, chief data strategy officer of the American Hospital Association to discuss a national Opioid study; and Mary Ann Contreras, the Injury Prevention and Trauma Outreach Coordinator at JPS Health Network, presenting on the implementation of a real-time data collection tool to help identify sex trafficking. A full agenda will be announced later this month.

The target audience for this event includes executives, business intelligence analysts, business managers, strategists, CIOs, data-driven designers, data engineers, data scientists, directors of marketing and researchers.

Poster submissions are being accepted through September 24.
