Focus on Texas children with guests from Children’s Health and Texas Health on “The Human Side of Health Care”

Episode 23 of the third year of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The discussion detailed the emotions of our children during a troubling beginning to the summer of 2022 and innovations in cancer treatments.

Guests included:

• Dr. Stevie Puckett-Perez, Pediatric Psychologist at Children’s Health and UT Southwestern Medical Center;
• Dr. Amit Desai, Gastroenterologist at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2022 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
