Author John M. Barry and Texas Health’s Dr. Horton highlight “The Human Side of Health Care”

Episode 24 of the second year of the DFW Hospital Council’s weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care” was broadcast on Sunday on KRLD 1080 AM. The discussion detailed author John M. Barry’s insights into the society’s “return to normal” from the pandemic and “heart health” across the community.

Guests included:

• Dr. Carl Horton, cardiologist at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne;
• John M. Barry, author of “The Great Influenza.”

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller provided a North Texas COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2020 on Sunday’s from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. CDT.
