Submissions for hospital “COVID-19 Heroes” extended to March 31, 2020

Due to the ongoing efforts of our North Texas healthcare heroes during the COVID-19 pandemic, the deadline to the DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation’s “COVID-19 Heroes” campaign has been extended. The original deadline of Dec. 31, 2020 will now be March 31, 2020.

“The efforts of our hospital employees during the COVID-19 pandemic continues,” said Jen Miff president of the DFWHC Foundation. “With our healthcare heroes continuing to work tirelessly during these many months and through 2021, we thought it was best to extend the deadline so as many North Texas hospital employees as possible could be acknowledged. We are looking forward to honoring their extraordinary work.”

A tribute to the regional healthcare workforce, the “COVID-19 Heroes” campaign is available to any employee in a North Texas hospital who has exhibited uncommon courage over the past year.

All submissions will be posted on the DFWHC Foundation website and honored after the March 31 deadline.
