IQSC Data Summit’s poster presentations set for Jan. 23!
With more than 25 poster abstracts submitted, the DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation’s Information & Quality Services Center (IQSC) will have a busy afternoon when they decide on the top presentations during an in-person ceremony on January 23 from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. at its headquarters in Irving. The presentations will detail data achievements at North Texas hospitals, with prizes to be awarded to the top posters.
The educational kick-off event will precede the IQSC’s virtual 7th Annual IQSC Data Summit, January 24-25 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, CT, each day.
“We were thrilled by the number of presentations provided,” said Theresa Mendoza, DFWHC Foundation data guru and coordinator of the Data Summit. “Each year we receive such impressive poster presentations, and this year was no different. We are looking forward to hearing from the creators on January 23 and most importantly, the event will serve as a great opportunity to discuss the future of data analytics in healthcare.”
Themed “The Future of AI-Based Healthcare Analytics,” the IQSC Data Summit will be loaded with IT experts detailing the future of AI and data technology in North Texas. Speakers from the Duke Institute for Health Innovation will participate in two separate panel discussions.
Topics will include:
• Scaling Best Practices to Advance the Safe, Effective and Equitable Use of AI in Healthcare;
• Overview of All Payer Claims Database in Texas;
• Roundtable Discussion on AI in Healthcare;
• Consumer Insights: Lessons from For-Profit Applied to Healthcare Delivery
• The Present and Future of Clinical Informatics: the Duality of Bedside and Screenside.
