IQSC Data Summit approved for 4.75 CE Hours for CAHIMS and CPHIMS



The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation’s Information & Quality Services Center (IQSC) announced today its 7th Annual Data Summit has been approved for 4.74 CE hours for CAHIMS and CPHIMS. As announced earlier this week, the event was also approved for 5.5 CNE hours of nursing credits. The virtual event is set for January 24-25 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, CT, each day.

Themed “The Future of AI-Based Healthcare Analytics,” the IQSC Data Summit will be loaded with IT experts detailing the future of AI and data technology in North Texas. Speakers from the Duke Institute for Health Innovation will participate in two separate panel discussions.

Topics will include:

• Scaling Best Practices to Advance the Safe, Effective and Equitable Use of AI in Healthcare;
• Overview of All Payer Claims Database in Texas;
• Roundtable Discussion on AI in Healthcare;
• Consumer Insights: Lessons from For-Profit Applied to Healthcare Delivery
• The Present and Future of Clinical Informatics: the Duality of Bedside and Screenside.

A pre-event ceremony to highlight the 25-plus poster abstract submissions submitted is set for January 23 at Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas. The presentations will take place in the hospital’s Reverchon Room from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m., with prizes to be awarded to the top posters. Food and beverages will be provided.
