The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation is pleased to introduce the Health Informatics Curriculum and Training for Transformation (HICATT). This free online informatics training course for healthcare professionals opened for registration this month.

The curriculum is funded by a grant from the Office of National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC). The DFWHC Foundation is a grant partner with the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston – School of Biomedical Informatics (SBMI) and is offering the training to North Texas healthcare providers and hospitals.

Any employed healthcare professional working in hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, accountable care organizations or other settings are eligible to participate. Students will upgrade their health informatics knowledge, improve the quality of healthcare in their communities and gain new skills to advance in their profession.
