Hear ye, hear ye – Poster presentations wanted for IQSC Data Summit!

The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation is seeking poster presentations for its Third Annual IQSC Data & Analytics Summit on November 15 at Brookhaven College. This year’s process has been streamlined. Simply go to this link to submit: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PDY3FHT. Easy as that!

The deadline for poster abstracts is October 11. Authors will be notified of acceptance by October 18. An electronic file of the final poster is due by November 1.

This year’s Data Summit is themed “Data Driven Decision,” with the hospital abstracts to be on display.

The agenda is still being determined for this all-day seminar, but we can tell you Katherine Rowell, co-founder and principal of HealthDataViz, has been signed as the keynote speaker. Her presentation is titled “The Importance of Risk-Adjustment for Measuring & Reporting Healthcare Outcomes.”

A few notes about your posters. Abstract themes must be related to the following healthcare data topics:

• Healthcare data and AI;
• Actionable data through visualization;
• Hospital performance analytics;
• Physician performance analytics;
• Emerging technologies.

With apologies, vendors are not allowed to submit abstracts, but are welcome to sponsor this growing event.

The DFWHC Foundation would like to recognize the great work North Texas hospitals are doing in data analytics while utilizing emerging data technologies to improve patient care and quality. These poster presentations will provide opportunities to share ideas and collaborate throughout the day during the Summit.
