Foundation provides training detail on recent TWC Grant

Presenting information on the Texas Workforce Commission Skills Development Fund, DFW Hospital Council Foundation President Kristin Jenkins and Foundation Workforce Director Sally Williams discussed training details with an audience of 20 representatives on December 7 at the United Way offices in Dallas.

The forum was held in coordination with grant partners Medical City Healthcare and the Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) Bill J. Priest Institute.

Jenkins and Williams detailed Medical City Healthcare and Texas Health Resources trained 900 individuals for over 28,000 hours at a cost of more than $1 million tuition dollars.

In attendance were Charlotte Morris, Tricia Scott and Michelle Yeatts of Medical City Healthcare and Vanessa Avery from DCCCD Bill J. Priest Institute. There were additional representatives from United Way Dallas, Holloway Family Foundation, Dallas Women’s Foundation, Dallas Foundation, Communities Foundation, Capital One and the City of Dallas.
