Fight for Air Climb Texas event set for April 17 in Arlington

The American Lung Association will be hosting its annual Fight for Air Climb Event for the North Texas area on April 17 at the Globe Life Park in Arlington at 8:00 a.m., CDT.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Air Climb will take place outside. The popular stair climb event is re-imagined for a safe in-person experience or a virtual climb to help raise money to defeat lung cancer, ease the burden of lung disease and improve the air our neighbors breath.

Be one of 1,000-plus and register to join the Fight for Air Climb in-person event or choose a virtual option and challenge yourself at famous landmarks.

The climb will include spatial distancing, health screenings, sanitation protocols and face masks.

The fundraising event will be used to fund respiratory research, enhance key public health measures through education and advocacy, and establish an advanced network of entities to develop new vaccines and therapies to stop future respiratory virus pandemics.
