Education credits available to IQSC’s 8th Annual Data Summit on Oct. 9-10

The DFW Hospital Council Foundation Information and Quality Services Center’s (IQSC) 8th Annual Data Summit is just around the corner, scheduled for October 9-10.
The DFWHC Foundation has partnered with ACHE of North Texas, with members able to self-report the educational segments for qualifying credits. The event is approved for 5.5 HIMSS Education Credit Hours and 4.5 hours of CNE.
The event kicks off in-person on October 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., CDT, at the Texas Health Resources’ corporate offices in Arlington. This event will also be available virtually. Day two on October 10 will be virtual only from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, CDT.
This year’s event will include 14 poster presentations, with sessions covering healthcare data, data analytics, community health and artificial intelligence.

• “Clinical Data Collection Roundtable” with Theresa Mendoza, Principal Data Services at the DFWHC Foundation; and Greg Shelton, BI Product Manager at the DFWHC Foundation
• “Turning Analytics into Action: Baylor Scott & White’s Value Achievement Program” with Kathy Defigueiredo, Director of Advanced Analytics at Baylor Scott and White; and Sally Barlow, Director of Strategic Advanced Analytics and Acute Clinical at Baylor Scott & White
• “Challenges and Successes in Establishing a Regional Trauma Registry” with Jacob Seil, Director of Information and Support Services at NCTTRAC
