DFWHC to host Six Sigma webinars “Journey to Green Belt” starting Aug. 20

The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) and Leaning Towards Change, LLC will co-host a series of Six Sigma webinars “Journey to Green Belt” beginning Thursday, August 20. The classes will include:

    • White Belt Class, Thursday, August 20, 2:00-4:00 p.m., CDT
    • Yellow Belt Class, Wednesday, September 23, 1:00-5:00 p.m., CDT; Thursday, September 24, 1:00-5:00 p.m., CDT
    • Green Belt Class, Monday thru Friday, October 19-23, 1:00-5:00 p.m., CDT; Monday thru Friday, October 26-30, 1:00-5:00 p.m., CDT

Tanya Stinson, MHQS, CMBB, MCBA, CRP, the Founder and CEO of Leaning Towards Change, LLC and a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, will serve as instructor.

Cost is $1,499 for the entire series. Join us for this great opportunity to earn your Lean Six Sigma Green Belt before the end of the year! These courses are entirely online. You will learn the foundations of Lean Six Sigma, what a process is, what the 8 wastes are, and how to use team-based tools to eliminate wastes, errors, inefficiencies and defects from day-to-day processes.

During these sessions, real healthcare examples will be utilized. There will also be no retake or recertification fees.
