The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC), UT Arlington and Care & Prepare webinar “Advanced Care Planning (ACP): AI-Based Quality and Cost Analysis of THCIC Claims Data” is in one week next Thursday, June 11 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., CDT.

A panel of speakers will include Leah Wingard, Executive Director of Care & Prepare; Dr. Mari Tietze, Health Informatic Professor at UT Arlington School of Nursing; Dr. Jerry Barker, Radiation Oncologist at Texas Cancer Specialists; Dr. Mahmoud Jawad, Associate Professor of Mathematics at UT Arlington; Ann McGowan, MSN, RN, CPPS, President of Care & Prepare; John Nguyen, Health Informatics Intern at Care & Prepare; and Stephen Love, President/CEO of DFWHC.

Join us for this discussion as the speakers will detail the impact of a multi-year study between UT Arlington and Care & Prepare involving Advance Care Planning (ACP). ACP is a service that helps prepare patients for the last part of their lives with a focus on “what they want.” These national experts will share their findings and, specifically, the cost savings for North Texas hospitals.
