A new Preceptor Academy set for Oct. 12 in Irving

A new edition of the DFW Hospital Council Foundation Workforce Center’s North Texas Nurse Preceptor Academy is set for Friday, October 12 at the Medical City Healthcare Resource Center in Irving on the campus of Medical City Las Colinas. The program is from 8:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The Nurse Preceptor Academy is for healthcare professionals interested in learning about precepting, with sessions designed to help the beginner and the experienced preceptor. Speakers include nursing and allied health representatives from North Texas hospitals and schools.

Cost is $60, with the fee including breakfast and lunch. You must pre-register as seating is limited.
