Foundation’s “Nurse Educator” seminar set for Oct. 16

The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation’s “North Texas Institute for Nurse Educators” is set for October 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Formerly the Summer Institute, this educational event is themed “Nursing Trends,” with five seminars including two panel discussions.

This event is a great opportunity to network with North Texas nurse educators from both academic and clinical settings. Presentations will include:

• Trauma Informed Care;
• Clinician Resilience;
• Palliative Care;
• Workplace Violence;
• Victims of Human Trafficking.

Cost is $80, including breakfast and lunch, and 5.0 CNE credits will be provided.
