We Will Miss You…

As our year closes out, we honor one of our own – Eileen Cross. Eileen Cross will be retiring at the end of the year after 10 years with the DFW Hospital Council. Eileen has been a wonderful asset to our organization. She started in GroupOne doing Verifications before moving over to her role at the DFW Hospital Council and then the DFWHC Foundation. She worked with many of our hospital human resources contacts and was key in developing many of those relationships. DFW Healthcare Human Resources Association support was under Eileen’s care and she saw that organization grow with her coordination and support. DFWHHRA was continually recognized as outstanding chapter at a national level as well as Eileen being recognized for her work with the group. Eileen played a role in the development of the Workforce Center with the DFWHC Foundation. In 2005, DFWHC workforce activities were combined into one department with the foundation and their work grew with grant projects and new initiatives. Her support and leadership were greatly appreciated and will be missed. The DFWHC staff honored her at their Holiday luncheon this past week with a quilt of memories of her time with us. Please join us in wishing Eileen the very best with her retirement. We will miss her!
