Two weeks until “Falls Prevention” webinar!

It’s just two weeks until the DFW Hospital Council Foundation’s July 11 educational webinar detailing innovative techniques to engage hospital patients in “falls prevention.” Titled “Redesigning Patient Education: Patient Engagement and Autonomy and how to use these techniques to decrease patient falls,” the event begins at 10:00 a.m. CST. Patricia Quigley, PhD, ARNP, CRRN, FAAN, FAANP, will serve as guest speaker.

Topics to include:
• Differentiate the domains of adult learning (cognitive, psychomotor skills and affective) to prioritize patient education content emphasis;
• Redesign patient education to fully engage patients as full partners in care.
