TQI to host annual meeting at two locations in June

The Texas Quality Initiative (TQI) has announced it will hold its 5th Annual Meeting at two separate locations. The Dallas meeting is set for June 24 at UT Southwestern William P. Clements University Hospital in the Education Center, Room 02.109 on the second Floor. Breakfast is scheduled at 7:30 a.m. followed by the meeting from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The Fort Worth meeting will take place June 30 at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth in the Heart Center classrooms on the first floor. Dinner will be served at 5:00 p.m. followed by the meeting from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Both events will feature Dr. Merlyn Sayers, president/CEO of Carter BloodCare, as the keynote speaker.

The TQI would like you to pick one of the two meetings that best fits your schedule. The target audience is service line administrators, executive staff, surgeons, cardiologists, data managers and quality improvement professionals.

TQI began in 2012 as a North Texas cardiovascular surgery collaborative. There are 28 participating hospitals from five healthcare systems. TQI leaders share knowledge with a goal of improving outcomes and patient safety within their own programs.
