Stephen Love’s future DFWHC retirement in 2027 profiled in D Magazine

Great article on DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) President/CEO Stephen Love was posted on June 1 in D Magazine. Penned by Layten Praytor, the story was inspired by Love’s retirement set for the end of 2027.

“After over 50 years in healthcare leadership, Love will step away from the DFW Hospital Council at the end of 2027,” the article stated. “Though retirement is now in sight, Love is adamant that it’s still in the distant future with little changing in the meantime. ‘I’m working full-time and at the same pace I always have,’ he quipped.”

The article detailed Love’s career at DFWHC over the past two decades, to include his work during the COVID-19 pandemic and on community health initiatives. There is also a note on his plans for the upcoming 2027 Texas state legislative session.
