GET UP! – Foundation and HIIN to host June 8 webinar on mobility

The DFW Hospital Council Foundation and the DFW Hospital Improvement Innovation Network (HIIN) will host the June 8 webinar “GET UP! – Early Mobility Matters” on June 8 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. CST.

Jackie Conrad, RN, BS, MBA, and improvement advisor for Cynosure Health, will serve as speaker.

The webinar will detail the modern epidemic of immobility, with such “inaction” harming patients and stalling efforts to reduce fall-related injuries. Jackie will discuss productive ways to reduce multiple harms, readmissions, length of stay and worker injury.

This activity has been submitted to the Texas Nurses Association for approval to ward contact hours. Texas Nurses Association-Approver is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
