Foundation’s “Fifth Annual Sepsis Conference” set for October 22!

The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation will be hosting its “Fifth Annual Sepsis Conference” on Thursday, October 22 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., CDT at the Hurst Conference Center. The event will be held in the building’s main ballroom.

This conference is pre-registration only. Through September 18, early-bird tickets are available for only $50. Fee includes breakfast and lunch.

This year’s event is themed “Sepsis is no Picnic!”, with speakers and agenda listed here.

The conference will be hosted by the Sepsis Strike Force. Coordinated by Patti Taylor, director of quality and patient safety at the DFWHC Foundation, the group was formed in 2017 with the intention of providing evidence-based clinical guidelines, protocols and best practices regarding sepsis.
