Foundation’s Dr. Sharma to be panelist at Global People’s Summit on Sept. 22



The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation’s own Dr. Sushma Sharma will serve as a panelist during the “Dallas Global People’s Hub: Reimagine Our Community” on September 22 at The Brain Performance Institute in Dallas.

The event, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., will take place during The Global People’s Summit and is hosted by The Community Health Institute at Parkland Health & Hospital System, The Brain Performance Institute, Vizient Inc. and UT Dallas.

The program is in partnership with the United Nations and will feature innovators, world leaders and change-makers from around the world. Dr. Sharma, the DFWHC Foundation’s director public and population health research, will serve on the Reimagine Healthcare Panel at 2:00 p.m.

Additional panelists include Leanne Young, executive director of The Brain Performance Institute; Dr. Esmaeil Porsa, chief strategy and integration officer at Parkland Health & Hospital System; Martha Maldonado, program coordinator at Dallas Healthy Start; and Dr. Doric E. Earle, healthcare economics and MGT professor at UT Dallas.
