Five days until “Emergency Preparedness” – register today!

The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation in association with the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) will be hosting the educational event “Emergency Preparedness: Regulation Implementation” on Tuesday, August 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas.

This complimentary event is intended for hospital executives, emergency preparedness and regulatory leaders.

CMS posted the final rule Emergency Preparedness Requirements to establish emergency preparedness consistency, increase patient safety during emergencies and establish a coordinated response to community disasters. Regulations must be implemented by Nov. 15, 2017.
