DFWHC speaks with FOX 4 on “critical point” in COVID-19 spread
In a news segment on FOX 4, DFW Hospital Council President/CEO Stephen Love was interviewed by David Sentendrey on the current status of the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
Love said North Texas needs to flatten the COVID-19 curve in order to preserve the supply of hospital resources including medical masks and bed capacity.
“I’ve heard supplies are low and they’re having to stay on top of it and managing it,” said Love. “As we stated three weeks ago when this started, we were prepared and we did our best to be on top of medical supplies, but as we forecast the volume, we want to be very judicious so that we preserve, as best we can, our PPE and medical supplies.”
