DFWHC Foundation’s virtual “Opioid Discussion” is one week away on March 29

The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation will continue its live virtual “Opioid Discussion” with the topic “Opioids and the Overdose Epidemic” in one week on Tuesday, March 29 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., CST.

Guest speaker will be Lisa Sullivan, Drug Enforcement Administration Dallas Diversion Program Manager.

During this session, Sullivan will discuss factors contributing to the crisis and Texas statistics; the practitioners role in preventing drug abuse; and the DEA’s “One Pill can Kill” campaign.

The complimentary event is ideal for clinicians, physicians, nurses, healthcare workers, community health workers and community members/consumers.
