DFWHC Foundation announces 2018 Board of Trustees



The Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation has announced its Board of Trustees for 2018. The Board of Trustees consists of the following individuals:

• Chair Ruben Esquivel, VP Community/Corporate Relations, UT Southwestern Medical Center
• Vice Chair Pamela Stoyanoff, Executive VP/COO, Methodist Health System
• Trustee Dr. Baron Hamman, CMO, Texas Health Heart and Vascular Hospital
• Trustee Brett Lee, Executive VP/COO, Capital Senior Living Corporation
• Trustee, W. Stephen Love, President/CEO, Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council
• Trustee Steve Miff, President/CEO, Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation
• Trustee, Dr. Matt Murray, Pediatric Emergency Physician, Cook Children’s Health Care System
• Trustee Steven R. Newton, President West Region, Baylor Scott & White Health
• Trustee Dr. Irving Prengler, CMO, Baylor Scott & White
• Trustee, Dr. Scott Robins, Division CMO, Medical City Healthcare
• Trustee Merlyn Sayers, President/CEO, Carter Bloodcare
• Trustee Mary Stowe, Senior VP/CNO, Children’s Health System
• Trustee Dr. Ferdinand T. Velasco, SVP/Chief Medical Information Officer, Texas Health Resources
• Trustee Karen Watts, Executive VP/CNO, Parkland Health & Hospital System
• Trustee Stephanie L. Woods, Associate Dean/Professor, Texas Woman’s University

Completing their terms are Harvey Fishero, the longtime chair of the Foundation Board; and Chuck Lyles, an original trustee. New DFWHC Board Members include Lee and Miff. Esquivel will serve as the new chair while Stoyanoff becomes vice chair.
