DFWHC and Wello webinar “Ending Epidemics” next Tuesday!

The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) and Wello, Inc. complimentary educational webinar “Ending Epidemics” is this Tuesday, February 25 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. CST. This “hot topic” webinar will detail trends that are contributing to such global threats as the Coronavirus.

Dr. Murray Cohen, president of Consultants in Disease and Injury Control (CDIC), will serve as the keynote speaker. Dr. Cohen, formerly of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), is a certified industrial hygienist.

Topics will include:
• Strengthening healthcare to end communicable diseases;
• Coronavirus;
• Breaking down barriers to end epidemics;
• Risk factors and determinants;
• High-risk situations;
• Protecting employees and patients from infection exposure.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love will provide the introductions and coordinate the Q&A.
