The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) and Herzing University webinar “The Influence of the Social Determinants of Health (SDOH)” originally broadcast on December 4 has been posted online.

Speakers included Dr. Indira D. Tyler, Faculty Development Specialist at Herzing University; and Chris Wilson, Communications Director at DFWHC.

The complimentary webinar explored the influence of Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) in shaping health outcomes for individuals and communities. Dr. Tyler discussed how factors like economic stability, education, healthcare access and neighborhood environments can significantly impact health. Takeaways included incorporating reflective practice in SDOH case studies to effectively address health outcomes.
