“Active Shooter Response” panel discussion set for Feb. 9



The Dallas County Medical Society (DCMS), in coordination with the DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) and the DFWHC Foundation, will host an “Active Shooter Response Presentation and Panel” on Friday, February 9 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas. This in-person event will include coffee and breakfast.

The discussion will feature healthcare leaders who are involved with local, state and federal emergency response. Speakers will include:

    Dr. Alexander Eastman, Chief Medical Officer, U.S. Customs and Border Control;
    Dr. Ryan Parker, Chief Medical Officer, Saint Francis Hospital;
    Christopher Noah, Director Disaster Management, Parkland Health;
    • and Dr. Marshal Isaacs, Dallas-Fire Rescue Medical Director, moderating the panel.

The presentation is open to local physicians and their staff, hospital staff and others in the healthcare community.
