The DFW Hospital Council Foundation’s Performance Improvement Committee will host the webinar “Utilizing the 5S Tool: to Streamline and Reduce Wastes, Errors, and Inefficiencies” on Thursday, May 22 from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m., CDT. Don’t miss out on this complimentary lunchtime event!

Speakers will include Tanya Stinson, MSHQ, LSSMBB, MCBA, CRP, Program Director, Compliance Operations and Project Management at Texas Health Resources; and Dr. Shernette R. Kydd, PhD, PE, MBA, LSSMBB, CPHQ, LBC, AVP, System Effectiveness at Cook Children’s Health Care System.

The 5S tool is a Lean manufacturing methodology used to organize and streamline a workspace for increased efficiency and reduced waste. This event will detail how to utilize this knowledge for hospitals and healthcare systems.
