DFWHC Foundation’s virtual “Opioid Discussion” is this Wednesday!

The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation will continue its live virtual “Opioid Discussion” with the topic “Opioids and the Overdose Epidemic- Fentanyl Epidemic and the High Cost of the Opioids” this Wednesday, July 13 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., CST.

During this session, speakers will discuss factors contributing to the misuse of and addiction to opioids—including prescription pain relievers, heroin and synthetic opioids such as fentanyl. This serious national crisis affects public health as well as social and economic welfare.

The complimentary event is ideal for clinicians, physicians, nurses, healthcare workers, community health workers and community members/consumers.
