Foundation to host virtual “Performance Improvement” event on June 23

The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation will host the educational “Performance Improvement” webinar “The Project Charter in Action: A Comprehensive View of Pre-Charter, Charter and Post-Charter Improvement Activities” on Tuesday, June 23 from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m., CDT.
The live discussion will include Tanya Stinson, Chief Executive Officer of Leaning Towards Change, LLC; and Shernette Kydd, PhD, Assistant Vice President of System Effectiveness at Cook Children’s Health Care System.
During this session, you will learn how a hospital project charter serves as a foundational, working roadmap used to structure Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives, such as reducing patient falls and decreasing readmission rates. The project can outline Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound (SMART) goals while also preventing issues that can appear across busy clinical departments.
The webinar will provide 1.5 CPHQ CE’s credit.
