It is just one week until the DFW Hospital Council Foundation’s annual Patient Safety Summit on Wednesday, August 3 at the Marriott Las Colinas in Irving. The event is from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This year’s theme is “Communication is Key,” with John Nance, pilot, author and business leader, to serve as keynote speaker. Nance is one of the key thought leaders to emerge in American healthcare in the past decade. Having helped pioneer the renaissance in patient safety as one of the founders of the National Patient Safety Foundation in 1997, his efforts are dedicated to reforming American healthcare from a reactive cottage industry to an effective system of prevention and wellness. A lawyer, Air Force and airline pilot, prolific author, national broadcaster and renowned speaker, Nance is expected to be just one of many highlights at the event.

This seminar is ideal for healthcare employees, nurses, patient safety advocates, chief nursing officers and hospital executives. Check the flyer below for the numerous CE’s provided.
