Dr. Sayers to detail blood shortage due to COVID-19 on Sunday’s “Human Side of Health Care”

An alarming blood shortage in North Texas due to COVID-19 will highlight Sunday’s edition of the DFW Hospital Council’s (DFWHC) weekly radio program “The Human Side of Health Care.” The broadcast will air on KRLD 1080 AM at 1:00 p.m. CST.

Guest stars will include:

• Dr. Merlyn Sayers, president/CEO at Carter BloodCare;
• Robert Walker, president/CEO at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children;
• and Dr. Madge Barnes, medical director at Texas Health Family Care.

DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love and KRLD’s Thomas Miller will also provide a COVID-19 update.

The radio program runs throughout 2020 on Sunday’s from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. CST.
